Volunteer Opportunities for Teens
We are always excited to welcome new Teen Volunteers to help with programs, prepare crafts and activities for the local community, and assist librarians in serving the public! Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 can sign up to be a Teen Volunteer at CCJPL; call us at (870) 935 - 5133 for more details, or talk to Ms. Michaela at the TeenHub desk to receive a Teen Volunteer application. (Please note: the volunteer application on our website is for adult volunteers only. Teens will need to pick up a form in person.)
You’ll need to fill out your paperwork before you’re able to start volunteering with CCJPL. The application process will explain our expectations for volunteers, and you’ll have a chance to give us a little more information about your areas of interest and your general availability so our Youth Services Department can help you to find a volunteer schedule that works best for you. Remember, school and home life come first! We will always do our best to work with you around schedule conflicts, and volunteering is never obligatory.
When you and your guardian have signed and returned your paperwork to the Teen Librarian, Ms. Michaela, you’ll be ready to start volunteering at CCJPL! We already have an awesome community of Teen Volunteers – we hope you’ll be able to join in the fun and score some volunteer hours at the same time!
