The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is seeking a Facilities Manager.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance and upkeep of
library facilities.
Responsibilities include all maintenance and minor repairs of buildings and equipment, monitoring preventative maintenance programs on most equipment, including HVAC systems, and ensuring the daily cleanliness of the building. This position will also assist branch librarians with maintenance and upkeep of the branch locations and the Bookmobile.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate and three years of maintenance related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license.
This is a full-time position with pay starting at $15.00 per hour. Benefits include a generous paid time off plan, paid health and dental insurance, and APERS retirement. PTO and insurance benefits amount to approximately $10,000 in value per year.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is seeking an Assistant Circulation Supervisor.
The Assistant Circulation Supervisors provide leadership and supervision to the Circulation Pages and ensure excellent customer service to all library customers.
Responsibilities also include training Circulation Pages, driving the courier route to the branch locations, assisting patrons in locating and checking out materials, and making sure materials are in the correct location.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, and/or one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is seeking a full-time Youth Services Staff Member.
The Youth Services Staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times while assisting with the daily operation of the Children’s Library.
Responsibilities include working at the children’s service desk, shelving and keeping library materials in order, planning and implementing programs for children (ages 0-12), occasionally collaborating with the Teen Librarian for programming for teens (ages 13-17), and acting as Supervisor on Duty for some nights and weekends.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working with children is preferred.
